This pluged right into my 2002 Ford Taurus and worked perfectly. It was tricky finding where the CD changer would be. For my car it was inside trunk under liner and against back of wheel well on the drivers side. Once I found that it was easy to plug this in. I had to by a 12' RCA plug to 3/5mm jack cord to run from this device behind the seats into car.

It works great now I just plug in my ipad or iphone and turn the stero to cd and I have excellent from device into car stero system. This is way way way better than the dumb fm transmitters I was trying before I found this
